In my school district it's called equity based grading. I am not a fan. 50 percent for doing nothing but answering one question. I understand the inequity in our schools but this doesn't teach kids responsibility. I cannot work half a day and expect to get paid for a full day. I can't go to college and write half of a a great paper and get all the points.

There has to be a better way than this.
